- Evaluate current dentoalveolar surgical treatments and apply novel management modalities to manage and circumvent complications
- Discuss evolving management approaches for temporomandibular joint disorders
- Formulate an all-inclusive evaluation approach for a trauma patient, and describe a rational treatment strategy, including surgical approach, instrumentation and materials that will be utilized to repair the trauma
- Based on criteria discussed, identify screening protocols available to detect oral cancer, and apply novel management modalities to those patients
- Summarize current and emerging treatment options in maxillofacial reconstruction surgery
- Describe updates in microneuro and orthognathic surgical procedures and protocols
- Understand and evaluate the impact of head and neck pathology in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery
- Develop a comprehensive treatment plan and strategy for patients undergoing facial cosmetic surgery
